Medium intense. Garnet with purple hues. Nuanced nose with concentrated red and black berry fruit, cassis and spice. Intriguing notes of cedar, sour cherry , undercurrents of cloves, herbal scrub and pepper. Intricate palate packed with red and black fruit, pepper and spice. Mid- palate weight gives the wine balance with a fine backbone of acidity, bold tannins and traces of minerality. The finish is dry and intense.
