The unique terroir of the hidden valley found at PaardenKloof are like no other anywhere in the world. At the turn of the century, we planted vines on these high altitude mountains. This estate is near the sea and characterised by ancient clay, Malmesbury shale, Sandstone and Koffieklip soils. Our hand-crafted wines are demarcated as Bot River, Walker Bay, Cape South Coast. We specialise in limited edition, single vineyard single varietal wines. Our vineyards grow in tough disease-free conditions which contribute to reductive flavours and quality wines. WIETA, BWI and IPW accredited.
