Vineyard
The grapes are sourced from a 30-year-old goblet vine on top of the Piekenierskloof Mountain that consistently produces superior quality grapes.
Vinification
The grapes were had-picked late February and sorted before it was destemmed and pressed in a basket press. The free juice was settled and inoculated with yeast before it was racked to the second-fill French barrel.
Maturation
After fermentation, the wine was matured in the same second-fill French barrel for 8 months.
