Roodekrantz Old Vine Chenin Blanc 1983 2021

Apricot and pear enhanced by pleasant acacia blossom aromas on the nose. The palate is ample rounded and fruit driven and reveals faint well-integrated vanilla notes. An elegant finish for a good wine.

Dryland, Bush Vines planted in decomposed granite soil. Mediterranean climate , slope relative flat.

Vinification details Hand harvested at 24B, fermented in stainless steel with a selected yeast strain tank 4-5 months on the fine lees. Small percentage 1-barrel co blended from the barrel fermented batch.
